The sectionviewer provides online access to all the digitized sections from the visible orbit collection. The sections are viewable in medium resolution. The collection contains 12 sets of sections, with 2249 sections in total.
Java
The sectionviewer uses java. Most new computers come with Java from Sun pre-installed.
If you don’t have the latest version of java installed, please go to http://www.java.com and follow the installation instructions.
Security warning?
It is possible that webstart shows a “Warning – Security” dialog. You have to answer “Always” or “Yes” in order to run the sectionviewer.
Shortcuts
When the section viewer is started for the first time, webstart asks if you like to create shortcuts. You can safely answer “Yes” here.
